Open House Exhibition
“The show’s the thing” — William Shakespeare… and you design and mount a big and festive one in your semester.
The NYSRP provides participants with an end of semester one night only group exhibition. The studio space is converted into an exhibition space, invites are sent out to the New York art community and parents and friends of students are welcome to attend.
You and your fellow participants title the show and design the show card through creative planning and thinking sessions. It will likely be your first New York show that you will put on your resumé and it is the culminating experience of your semester at NYSRP.
The Open House Exhibition is a well-known event in the New York Art World and the public comes in large numbers to see it.
